About Us

Molalla Youth Sports was started over three decade ago as Molalla Youth Soccer. Since it's formation Molalla Youth Sports has undergone several transformations picking up sports programs that could no longer be funded by the school district. Soon after Molalla Youth Soccer was formed other sports followed in joining the organization and Molalla Youth Soccer became Molalla Youth Services in 1996 after Basketball, Baseball, and Softball were added. MYS then later became Molalla Youth Sports.

MYS was the first youth sports organization in Molalla and is still the largest youth sports program in the City and Surrounding areas. MYS has averaged anywhere from 700-1200 sports registrations in the last decade and continues to follow the tradition of finding a home for youth sports as the school district can no longer fund them. MYS has also added many new competitive leagues to each sports program. MYS is dedicated to grow with the community and provide the best service and youth sports programs around.

MYS is a nonprofit 501(3c) organization and as such all proceeds and fundraisers goes back into the youth sports programs to give the youth sports programs the very best opportunities to succeed.

Mandatory Concussion Training For Coaches

Due to Senate Bill 721 it is now mandatory for all Youth Coaches to complete concussion training. Click on the link below complete the training and print a certificate of completion. Send a copy of you certificate the MYS office to be eligible to coach.

Molalla Youth Sports is a volunteer run program. There are many open volunteer positions that we need help filling. Please see the open positions below, if you have any questions please call the MYS office (503) 829-3939.

Coaches

Important Notice for all MYS Coaches and Sports reps. For all of your hard work and dedication, all head coaches will receive a 30% off one player registration up to a max $50.

All Sports Reps will receives 50% off one player registration up to a $75 max.

This benefit will be paid by check at the end of the season when equipment is turned in.
